Newton's laws of motion
Newton's 1st law
An object will stay at rest unless a force acts apon it, this is know as inertia.
See this in action with our Table Cloth trick episode, click here.
Newton's 2nd law
The force acting on an object is equal to the mass of that object times its acceleration. this can be shown by the equation
force = mass x acceleration (F=ma)
Newton's 3rd law
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
