Newton's laws of motion

Newton's 1st law

An object will stay at rest unless a force acts apon it, this is know as inertia.

Newton's 2nd law

The force acting on an object is equal to the mass of that object times its acceleration. this can be shown by the equation

force = mass x acceleration (F=ma)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Newton's 3rd law

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
