Ethanol rocket

Ethanol is a highly flammable liquid. It is very clean burning which means it won’t produce as much soot. This is because it burns mainly under complete combustion. This happens because the is enough oxygen (O2), incomplete is when there is a lake of it.

Complete combustion is shown by this equation;

Fuel + oxygen → carbon dioxide + water

Incomplete combustion is shown by this equation;

Fuel + oxygen → carbon monoxide + carbon + water

Rocket science is not as complicated as people make it out to be.  To put it the simplest terms you are make a force bigger so that it will move.

This is done by a transfer of energy, as the law of conservation of energy states that; energy can neither be created nor destroyed only changed. In this case we are converting chemical energy from the ethanol to kinetic (movement) energy and wasted heat, light and sound energy.
