Acid Carbonate Reactions

You will note that I put my first and second attempt at the reaction in the video. This is to show the principle of science that you try something, see what happens and form a conclusion and that things don’t always go as you predict. The conclusion that I made from my first failed attempted was that the type of packet baking powder that I used was not the right type for the way that I was doing the reaction.

You can do this reaction with any acid and any carbonate.
